Jim Wagner
Starting off at age 16 washing cars at a local Buick dealership, Jim has spent 33 years involved in the automotive industry. Jim has been published several times for short articles he has written about auto safety concerns and has recently completed his first book on a related topic. However, Jim's real passion can be found inside the car, in the driver's seat or even in the passenger seat. When he is in the driver's seat, most of his time is devoted to driving safely, yet fast, on a race track. When he occupies the passenger seat, he is either instructing aspiring race car drivers, or just track-junkies, on the finer points of track experience, or teaching new drivers car control skills that might save their lives some day. He has experience with three different organizations in the pursuit of educating new drivers; Richard Petty Driving Experience Safe Driver Program, Xtreme Measures Teen Driving School and Tire Rack's Street Survival Program. Jim has worked all across the USA and has had the wonderful opportunity of taking this program into the hands of many new teen drivers.
