Billy Revis
Over 30 years ago, Winston-Salem, N.C., native Billy Revis was concentrating on racing dragsters. After competing for more than six years in a Chrysler-powered dragster, his attention changed to the world of road racing. In 1978, Revis got involved in club activities, including autocross and driving schools, driving a BMW. Since then, Revis has gone on to win 10 BMW Car Club of America class championships, and he holds a half-dozen class track records. In an effort to fund his BMW club activities in 1990, Revis began working on race cars in the evenings in his garage. In 1997, he opened Motorsport Connections on a full time basis. Revis has gone on to build and prepare over 40 club racecars. His reputation in the BMW club is unmatched when it comes to the detail of his work. In 2005, the current BMW and NASA race instructor stepped into the world of SCCA professional racing and competed in the SCCA Speed World Challenge Touring Car Championship series.
